Gaming Tournament Rules

This page contains the rules about the gameplay and player behaviour within our tournaments. We try to include rules for all situations. Every gamer has to be aware of the behaviour guidelines and online tournament rules.

General

  • The Player Crew assumes that each participant who enter a tournament is aware of all the rules and checks them periodically . Insufficient knowledge of the rules can not be used as an excuse for breaking the rules.
  • A player can only register once per sport. Selling, renting, trading or receiving compensation in any way for spots, is forbidden.
  • Every participant who breaks a rule, will be punished. The exact way of punishment will be decided by the Admin involved. Examples of punishments are: 3-0 loss, replay, penalty points, leaving the tournament early, a temporary ban or a permanent ban.
  • Rosters will be placed on the website before the start of a tournament. Once the tournament starts, no changes or substitutes to the roster are allowed.
  • Matches need to be played within the times allocated for each player.
  • Gamers who participate are required to play with the Gamer ID or Username they have specified.
  • The Gamer ID which is being used has to equal to the Gamer ID shown on the roster. If another account is going to be used, submit this to an Admin BEFORE the tournament starts.
  • Complaining about losing a game incorrectly after a match can not be taken into account in the final outcome of a match. If there are reasons to suspect that your opponent is not playing by the rules or serious lag occurs for a long time, report this to the admin before your opponent has taken benefit of the problem. ( The beginning of the game).

Tournament Guidelines

  • Each player has to register by purchasing entry credits in order to participate in the tournament. Buying credits from a third-party or promoting credits buying is against the rules.
  • All participants must check themselves in 30 minutes before the tournament starts. This can be done via the tournament lobby. NOTE: If you do not check yourself in within 5 minutes before the tournament starts, you will not be eligible to participate in the tournament and you will will lose your spot.
  • The game schedule and the times when the games have to be played will be published after the check-in.
  • The player who plays "HOME " is responsible for starting a match.
  • If both players are ready, the game starts. Extra breaks are not allowed in game
  • When your next match is available in the schedule, you have to start immediately. If the match doesn't start in 15 minutes, the player who doesn't show up in time will be disqualified.

  • Players are not allowed to change User Gameplay Customization or CPU gameplay customization settings
  • Participants are not allowed to use or exploit known bugs and / or glitches. In the event that an Administrator determines that a Participant is using a bug or a glitch that results in an undue advantage, the Administrator may decide to revert to the state of the game prior to the use of the glitch or apply a disciplinary sanction to the Participant in the event that this use is voluntary. The Administrator is solely responsible to determine the voluntary nature of the use of the glitch

Tournament Group and Knockout Stages

  • The top 2 players of each group will qualify for the knock-out stage: When the game points are the same, the goal difference will decide who’s going to the k.o. stage. When the goal difference is the same, total number of goals would determine who advances.
  • Playoff stage: All rounds in the knock-out stage will be Best of One (So 1 match)
  • It is allowed to play with club- and national teams
  • It is allowed to change your team during the tournament.

Behaviour Rules

  • All participants in the tournaments must treat each other and the organization respectfully.
  • When a participant has hurtful, offensive or racist expressions towards his/her opponent, he will be immediately disqualified and disciplinary measures will be taken.
  • Bad language and/or threats against the Pro Players Admin means an instant disqualification.
  • In cases of fraud and/or cheats, a participant will be disqualified immediately and disciplinary measures will be taken.
